About uMa Birth Village

Helping mothers birth with confidence and recover with peace of mind.

We believe that every birth experience should be met with dignity, respect and compassion. Every parent should have a nurturing and safe space to heal after birth. And no matter how you decide to nourish your baby, every parent should have adequate tools, resources and support to feed your newborn.

At uMa Birth Village, we provide love-centered and evidence-based support to birthing people and families in the greater Indianapolis area. We offer labor, birth and postpartum support as well as lactation and feeding services. Our focus is caring for you, so that you can care for your growing family.

Birth is an opportunity to transcend. To rise above what we are accustomed to, reach deeper inside ourselves than we are familiar with, and to see not only what we are truly made of, but the strength we can access in and through birth.
